February 14th, the day of the year when everyone’s thoughts turn to love. Yes, it is a day associated with love; a day that brings with it a sweet flavor of romance; a day that sees people flocking shops and malls searching for the best gifts and cards for their loved ones; a day that dresses in a cute Valentines day outfit to show off your perfect look, with the only intention of bringing a smile on the loved ones’ faces; a day to express your love to your beloved, family and friends. Here are some ways for you to express your deep love.
1. Make a homemade card for someone. The card will have more meaning to it if it is created by you instead of buying a card from a store. Use your own words to describe the person you’re giving it to. Create a poem or a note of appreciation. Write a quote of love on the card. Add a little “copyrighted” symbol on the back of the card for fun.
2. Think of candy, chocolate, and sweets. If you are getting something for a colleague in the office, get a small box of those sugary hearts with the little sayings on them. If you wish, you can make a chocolate recipe along with someone else on Valentine’s Day.
3. Send her a rose. One of the best ways to express your romantic feelings and heartfelt sentiments to that someone special and to make her feel special is to send her roses. Rosess are in fact considered to be the traditional gifts for Valentine’s Day. Both men and women love to receive flowers on Valentine’s Day.
Celebrate your love and passion with flowers, cards and chocolate this Valentines day!
